The octopus from Via Carota. Went here on a Wednesday and it was only a ~30 minute wait for three people (but it was also Halloween). I’d plan on putting your name in early on the weekend (maybe 6pm) especially if you have more than two people.

Upright Brew House for drinks on a Friday before dinner. It has a great beer selection, happy hour til 7pm, and a downstairs area for private events (no deposit required!).

Agave in West Village for bottomless brunch: $35 for an entree + two hours of margaritas, mimosas, or wine.

LANY concert

Put our name in at 4 Charles on Friday night around 7pm (for two people) and was able to get in at 10pm. Every night differs…but I’ve found it’s easier to walk in than you think if you’re willing to wait. Went for the burger and sides vs. doing the whole prime rib meal. THIS BURGER is one of the best dishes in NYC hands down. Add bacon.

Went to I Sodi on a weeknight (wasn’t too packed) and the pastas were absolutely incredible (cacio e pepe pictured below). Lasagna is star of the show.

Milk Bar’s 10th birthday!!!!! They had fruity cereal milk to celebrate (and are keeping it through the rest of November).
