Food, dining, restaurants, hospitality, cooking....these are all things that have been with me for a while.  I can't exactly remember when I became a "foodie" (that term makes me criiinnnggge) but somewhere along the way of my college "foodstagram" and living in nyc, it happened. 

 Went to Shuka for the first time since it re-branded from 100 Acres and the feta + pistachio dip will neverrrrrr get old. Their dips (+ pita) are amazing.

I've always wanted to be a part of a brand.  Sure, your college or your company can be your "brand" but I never felt as though something so big, something so corporate every really would fulfill what I was looking for.  I crave being someone that people can trust for recommendations.

New York has some of the greatest dining and hospitality in the world and a majority of people aren't able to experience it (and end up eating at the same places) because they either 1) don't make reservations; 2) try to go somewhere and can't get in; 3) can't afford it; or 4) don't care.  I am here to help #1 and #2.  It's annoying to arrive at a restaurant you've been wanting to try and find out there's a two hour wait and have no Plan B.  Then you settle for Dos Caminos down the street because it's raining and you're not sure where else you can get in on Friday at 8:30pm.  I get it.  Let this guide help you and let me help you eat and drink better.
