A hip, modern Mexican restaurant in the basement of the tacqueria with the classic "speakeasy" feel (e.g, go through the kitchen to get to the actual restaurant). It's a fun atmosphere and great place to take people from out of town or a fun date spot. My favorite menu items include: queso fundido, BLT tacos (grilled shrimp, garlic butter, bacon, pico de gallo, lettuce, and chipotle glaze), grilled corn, and tortilla soup. Tostadas are a decent appetizer (but not amazing), so I'd focus on the other appetizers, sides, and tacos to split. On the cocktail front, I highly recommend the Pepino Diablo (jalapeno tequila, cucumber, lime) or the Golpe de Fresa (mezcal, strawberry, lemon, pepper salt) or if you're feeling really crazy, just mezcal to sip on.
