Missy Robbins’ new restaurant focused on vegetable-forward appetizers and only pastas. The space is simple and a little more industrial than Lilia. For two people, I’d recommend two apps, 2-3 pastas (depending how hungry you are), and of course gelato (the only dessert). I loved both appetizers we ordered: the charred peppers and whipped ricotta crositini and chanterelles (but all of these looked amazing). In terms of pasta, we ordered the tortelli which is filled spinach and mascarpone tossed in brown butter (OMG) and the strangozze with pork sugo. The tortelli is one of the better pasta dishes I’ve ever had while I thought the strangozze was just okay. I would like to try the fettucine (first one on the menu), which people have raved about. Olive oil gelato to finish, that is all.
