You really can never go wrong with pizza. Especially Neapolitan. ESPECIALLY when a Neapolitan pizza place has other items that are just as good as its pizza. This place is Speedy Romeo.

Kale apple salad: roasted kale, goat cheese vin, seasonal fruit, walnuts, crispy freekeh

In terms of starters, both salads are great (I’ve only had the kale) but truly depends what you’re craving. I love the octopus and smoked mozzarella as well. Pizza wise, the Diavola (pictured below) is always a crowd pleaser but you really can’t go wrong (+ can add any toppings you want). If you pick, Paul’s Boutique you’ll get an everything bagel crust with Katz’s pastrami. Yeah. Plus in the summer, they serve the freshest heirloom tomatoes and will always have a special pizza featuring them. There truly is nothing better.

King Salami: san marzano tomato sauce, hot & sweet soppressata, finocchiona roasted red peppers, mozzarella

This is also the kind of place you want to sit at the bar if you’re only two people. It’s dark and intimate but also casual enough for a weeknight catchup with a friend. Reservation wise, you can get something a couple days before or it shouldn’t be too long of wait if you want to walk in. Also a solid delivery option for when you’re not in the mood to venture outside.
